Craig joined the staff at Southwest in 2005, and became the senior minister in 2011. He preaches most Sundays during the later contemporary service. He is a graduate of Atlanta Christian College (now Point University) and Emmanuel School of Religion (now Emmanuel Christian Seminary.) Craig, his wife, Melanie, and their children, Carter, Abigail, Lauren, Sawyer, and Leah, live in Newnan.

James White
James WhiteSenior Associate Minister & Pastoral Care
James has been on staff the longest of any current staff member, having served as a youth minister, worship leader, and now in his current role focusing on pastoral care. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries from Atlanta Christian College (now Point University) and a Master of Divinity from Emmanuel School of Religion (now Emmanuel Christian Seminary.) He is currently enrolled in classes for Clinical Pastoral Education. James is responsible for coordinating worship and preaching during the earlier traditional service every week.

Deanna Peacock
Deanna PeacockSW Kids Minister (Birth-5th Grade)
Deanna joined the staff in November 2012 fulfilling a long standing desire to be a children’s minister. Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Atlanta Christian College (now Point University.) She lives in Newnan with her husband, John, and three children, Hannah, Steven and William.

Taylor has been serving with Southwest since June 2016. She graduated from the University of West Georgia, where she holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Taylor has moved back to Newnan to be closer to family and work.

Gail MorgartAdult Choir Director
Gail joined the staff in 2017. She married Tom Morgart and supported him in youth ministry for many years in Georgia and Pennsylvania.

Gail has three adult children, Kimberly (Brent) Cater, Nicole (Jeff) Harbin, and Sam (Stacey) Morgart. She is also the grandmother of four; Michael and Clara Grace Harbin, and Makenna and Emily Morgart.
