Join Us in Prayer This Summer

This summer, Southwest Christian Church invites you to participate in our Weekly Prayer Walk, a special opportunity to come together as a community to pray over our church and its ministries. Organized by our deacons, with both elders and deacons present at each session, this event is designed to seek God’s guidance and blessing over every corner of our church.

How to Participate

No sign-up is required—just show up ready to pray and connect. We encourage you to bring a friend or family member to share in this special time. If you have specific prayer requests, our elders will be available to pray with you.

What is the Prayer Walk?

The Weekly Prayer Walk is a time to walk through the main areas of our church, pausing to pray for each space and the people who gather there. We’ll visit key areas such as:
  • Main Sanctuary: Where we worship and grow in faith together.
  • Sunday School Rooms: Spaces for learning and spiritual growth.
  • SW Kids: Where our children discover God’s love.
  • SW Students: Supporting our teens as they navigate their faith journey.
Each session will be a guided time of reflection and prayer, fostering connection with God and one another.
Why Join the Prayer Walk?
Summer is a busy season, with vacations and events often making church attendance more sporadic. The Prayer Walk offers a meaningful way to:
  • Stay Connected: Reconnect with our church community during the week.
  • Seek Prayer: Speak with one of our Elders if you need personal prayers.
  • Reflect With Our Church: Lift up the spaces and ministries that make Southwest Christian Church a home for worship and fellowship.
