Our vision is to help students learn a deeper understanding of the life of Christ and His love while applying that same love and passion to all aspects of their lives. We want to equip and empower the youth of today to live as disciples in the world today, creating the leaders of the Church of tomorrow.

All SW Student Ministry volunteers are screened through bi-yearly criminal background-checks and receive Child Protection certification through MinistrySafe. Volunteers also receive periodic ministry training and are passionate about Jesus and kids.

Sunday Mornings: MS/HS Sunday School at 9:45 AM and adult Worship Service at 11:00 AM.

SW Student Ministry is about serving students 6th-12th that they may serve others, seeking God that we may know Him, and making Him known by boldly proclaiming the gospel of Christ!

Winter 2024 Activities

December 15 – Holiday Hoedown
Meet after 11:00 a.m. service in the youth room. Wear your favorite Christmas sweater and boots. Brunch will be served. We will play games, decorate cookies and have a $10 white elephant gift exchange. Pick up at 2:30 sharp.
December 18 – High-school movie night at the Owens
Meet at the church at 6:30. Girls bring snacks and guys bring drinks. Pickup at the church at 9:30.
December 22 – Middle school game day at the church
Meet in the youth room following 11:00 service. Bring $10-$15 for lunch. We will play games and hang out. Pickup at 2:00 sharp.
December 30 – New Years Eve Ball at Palmetto Park
Meet at the church at 4:30. Please dress as you would for a school formal. Dinner is provided by Palmetto Park. Pickup is at 8:30(be flexible we may run a little later).
January 5 – TCTC parents/guardian info meeting
Meet in the fellowship hall immediately after 11:00 service. If your child is going to TCTC at least one parent or guardian needs to attend this meeting.
January 10-12 – TCTC
We have a very few spots available. Please sign up ASAP.
February 2 – United 12:12 at Southwest Christian Church
5:00-7:00 Night of Worship
We will provide dinner for all groups coming that night. We will have a Nacho bar and desserts.
